Cave Creek Museum features new toy exhibit
January 3, 2025, Cave Creek, Arizona – Cave Creek Museum prepared numerous exhibits for the season. Toys dating as far back as far as the 1800s is one of the fun, historical new exhibits.
According to Judith Hatsell, museum volunteer, the new exhibit showcases toys from the 1890s-1950. While viewing the toys, each visitor needs to connect with their inner child to enjoy the simplicity of toys from yesteryear. Some of the featured toys include clay marbles, a1940s Margaret O’Brien doll, an erector set, handmade wooden toys and more.
“Come connect with memories from your youth or just to reflect upon a simpler time,” says Hatsell.
The 54-year-old museum’s mission is to preserve the artifacts of the prehistory, history, culture and legacy of the Cave Creek Mining District and the Cave Creek/Carefree foothills area through education, research and interpretive exhibits.
