Did you know

In Ancient Rome, they would die eggs red and bury them to hopefully manifest a good growing season for crops. Since then, eggs in Italy are a huge symbol for new life and springtime.  Large chocolate eggs are extremely popular in Italy/Sicily and the main treat to gift for Easter. They are all extravagant and big, way bigger than the ones we will have even!  The tradition really started after WWII when people wanted to spread joy and celebrate in "bigger" ways and the tradition carries on still today with almost every bakery and sweet shop displaying them for sale all Easter season.

Mastro’s City Hall, Mastro’s Steakhouse and Mastro’s Ocean Club

For those looking to celebrate Easter in style this year, all three Mastro’s Scottsdale locations are offering a special Easter brunch in addition to their full dinner menu. Take this unique opportunity to indulge in the luxury of Mastro’s during the day while celebrating with friends and family. Additionally, Mastro’s two limited-time spring specials, a Coconut Cake and specialty Bee Sting cocktail, will be available to order on this special day.
