This February, The Ravenscroft in Scottsdale is offering an unforgettable month of live music with an exciting
lineup of jazz performances, including GRAMMY-nominated artists, local legends, and free community events.
Below is the rundown of the upcoming events.
Ravenscroft Concert Series:
- GRAMMY Night with Gerald Clayton (Feb. 1 @ 6PM): Celebrate with six-time nominated pianist Gerald Clayton, complimentary charcuterie, exclusive photo ops, and a special drink menu. Dress to impress!
- Jazz Icons with Mike Kocour Quartet (Feb. 15 @ 6PM): A benefit concert featuring timeless jazz from legends like Quincy Jones and Herbie Hancock. Proceeds support House of Refuge Sunnyslope.
Jazzbird Nights – Live Every Friday & Select Saturdays:
- David Friesen’s Circle 3 Trio (Feb. 14 @ 7PM): A legendary bassist leads a captivating performance with special guest guitarist John Stowell.
- Russell Schmidt with Exit Strategy (Feb. 21 @ 7PM): Dynamic jazz classics and originals led by Schmidt and a stellar quintet.
- TRAQ ATAQ (Feb. 22 @ 7PM): NYC’s jazz fusion trio brings an energetic set blending jazz and alternative rock.
- James Fernando Trio (Feb. 28 @ 7PM): Experience a modern twist on the classic piano trio format with virtuoso pianist James Fernando.
Jazz for the Soul – Free Show:
- Zazu West (Feb. 23 @ 6PM): Enjoy Phoenix’s premier Gypsy Jazz ensemble for free! Donations benefit PRISM, providing musical instruments to underprivileged students.
Special Event:
- VJC Winter Performance (Feb. 16 @ 3PM): A matinee featuring Valley Jazz Cooperative student ensembles and special guest performers.
