Walmart Sets the Table Early With a Thanksgiving Meal for Less Than $7 per Person

Now through Dec. 24 Walmart’s inflation-free Thanksgiving meal is available to shop, with options for customers

to “give or gift” a meal.

Today Walmart officially launched its holiday meal, bringing customers incredible savings on mealtime favorites, earlier and at an even lower price than last year. And to help spread more joy during the season of giving, Walmart is offering customers the opportunity to gift a meal directly to loved ones anywhere in the country and, new this year, donate an entire meal to their local Salvation Army unit.

As food prices remain top of mind, more customers want to begin saving earlier and throughout the holiday season. Now through Dec. 24, Walmart is bringing back its inflation-free Thanksgiving meal at a lower price than last year to help customers save without compromising quality.

Customers can shop the meal now in stores and with one click on Walmart.com/thanksgiving. New ways to spread more cheer and give back

On top of being able to donate the equivalent of a Thanksgiving meal to their local Salvation Army unit at Walmart.com/thanksgiving, customers can also round up any purchase on Walmart.com to benefit the organization. At participating Walmart stores and Sam’s Clubs, customers can also donate to the Salvation Army Red Kettles or buy gifts for children in need through the Angel Tree program. These efforts build on Walmart and the Walmart Foundation’s long-standing support of The Salvation Army. Last year, Walmart customers and Sam’s Club members raised more than $34 million to support local Salvation Army units, and Walmart and the Walmart Foundation have awarded more than $7 million to the organization over the last five years.

"We are deeply grateful for our longstanding partnership with Walmart. Their holiday contributions make a lasting difference, helping us provide vital services and hope to those in need. Together, we are making a meaningful impact this season," said Commissioner Kenneth Hodder, national commander of The Salvation Army.

Additionally, customers can purchase a Thanksgiving meal for a loved one – whether they’re down the street or across the country. Customers can input their friend or family’s address into Walmart.com, and an entire Thanksgiving meal can be delivered straight to their door, or ready for pickup at their local Walmart. It’s just one more way Walmart is helping customers bring more joy to those they care about.

‘Tis the season to savor the savings

Whether it’s the Thanksgiving meal, late-night snacks for the last-minute wrappers or stocking stuffer treats for the whole family, customers can trust that Walmart will offer consistently low prices across its wide food assortment no matter when, where or how customers shop, all season long.
