Let the games begin! OdySea Aquarium is proud to present its inaugural Summer Games, an exciting event where guests can ‘play like an animal!’ From July 1 through July 31, visitors will have the unique opportunity to engage in 15 entertaining—and often silly—games inspired by the fascinating behaviors of their favorite aquatic and land animals at OdySea Aquarium.

Guests of all ages can compete in friendly competitions where they can:
· Waddle like a penguin
· Outlift an octopus
· Catch food like a jellyfish
· Build a tower with lobster claws
· Compete in animal trivia
· And many more medal-worthy events!
The Summer Games will commence each day with a special ceremony in the Deep Ocean Gallery at 10:00 a.m. when one lucky guest is given the honor of igniting the Summer Games cauldron, illuminating it with a flickering, symbolic “flame.” While not real fire, this flame will dance and move, embodying the essence of the authentic global games and the spirit of competition.

Guests won’t want to miss the chance to “play like an animal” while aiming for the winner’s podium; an opportunity to stand among ‘the champions’ atop the Summer Games platform to be awarded a bronze, silver, or gold medal in their selected event. Each day offers new challenges as the games rotate, ensuring a fresh and exciting experience every visit. Games are scheduled between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. with a majority taking place in the Deep Ocean Gallery. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. The physical and funny aspects of the games, along with eye-catching, larger-than-life Summer Games décor and props, lend themselves well to plenty of Instagram-worthy photo opportunities, too!
