Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa Debuts “Scottchella” Poolside Summer Experience

Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch, the premier Arizona desert resort located at the base of the McDowell Mountains, debuts the “Scottchella” summer poolside experience for guests. The festival-inspired lineup will feature a schedule of activities, delicious poolside food curated by Celebrity Chef Richard Blais, Instagram-worthy décor, and more. The resort will also feature a special “Scottchella” promotion to kick off the summer season.

The “Scottchella” experience will take place at the resort’s pool between May 1 and September 2, 2024. The resort has partnered with several beverage brands to provide pool-side activations throughout the season, from Bacardi and Titos to Cointreau and Taittinger Champagne. The resort will also feature several “Scottchella” themed backdrops for photo opportunities such as a festival-inspired entrance with palm trees, a Volkswagen bug, and more.
The experience also features Celebrity Chef-curated fare at the newly-renovated poolside restaurants with menus developed by Richard Blais, co-star alongside Gordon Ramsay on FOX’s hit cooking competition “Next Level Chef.” The H2Oasis restaurant is located in the adults only section of the pool and features island-inspired tacos highlighting global flavors from the South Pacific, Polynesia, Hawaii and the Caribbean. Sandbar is located in the family-friendly pool area and showcases popular American cuisine with gourmet burgers, fresh seasoned fries, crispy chicken tenders, and more. Both restaurants feature a menu of refreshing frozen cocktails and mocktails ranging from an Island Oasis Daquiri to a Froze-Guava. When guests select the “Vacation Mode Upgrade” their frozen cocktail will be served in a fresh pineapple.
When guests book a standard room or suite for two or more nights during “Scottchella,” they can select from three options. The first is the “Stay, Swim & Sip” which includes a complimentary pool cabana for the day and can be booked by using the offer code CABANA. The second option is “Stay & Dine” which includes a $100 food & beverage credit and can be booked using the offer code DINE. The “Scottchella Staycation” option is also available for one-night stays and features the resort’s lowest rates throughout the summer season. It can be booked using the offer code SUMMER.

Hyatt Regency Scottsdale’s pool reopened in early April following several enhancements. The pool now features a towel bar in the center of the main pool area, featuring towel and floaties available for purchase. The pools themselves were also resurfaced for a fresh look.
Additionally, the resort installed new luxury cabanas featuring a couch, multiple lounge chairs, a 55-inch television, fans, a miniature refrigerator, and safe. Each cabana features dedicated food and beverage service with package options ranging from a “Build Your Own Bloody Mary Package” and a “Game Day Package” to a “Family Package” with an inner tube, beach balls, mocktails, sunscreen, and a bucket of beer for adult guests. Additionally, cabanas located in the adult pool section now feature bottle service.
In addition to the pool’s refresh, the $110 ongoing transformation of Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa will include a complete rebranding of the property to a Grand Hyatt hotel, the first in Arizona. The updates include a full renovation of guestrooms, additional new restaurants, Spa Avania and fitness center, key public areas and amenities including the expansion of the hotel’s Arizona Ballroom.
