Phoenix’s Best Waterpark Opens March 13

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix is now hiring 500 seasonal positions in preparation for its opening March 13, 2024. Phoenix seasonal staff opportunities range from lifeguards, food and beverage staff, cashiers, and security to EMT’s, cooks and supervisors for a total of 15 different types of job positions open.

“Six Flags is a worldwide leader in service and entertainment and we’re looking forward to hiring energetic, responsible team members for the 2024 season,” said Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix General Manager Tim Baxter. “New team members will be given opportunities to learn and grow as they’re trained on Six Flags’ unwavering standard of safety and guest service. We are committed to consistently delivering a premium experience to our guests.”

Season Opening

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix opens for the season on March 13. Arizona’s largest waterpark has more than 30 thrilling attractions that range from North America’s first gravity-defying dueling water roller coaster Bahama Blaster, to Splashwater Beach a refreshing interactive water play structure with an overhead tipping bucket for both kids and the kids at heart. The newest addition to the park is Paradise Island, featuring a 12,000-square-foot activity pool with more than a quarter of a million gallons of clear, blue water to keep guests cool in the scorching Phoenix heat. It also has a zero-depth entry for little ones and a unique water basketball court. The entire expansion covers nearly 42,000 square feet and includes extensive lounge seating, comfortable shade, a food location and restrooms. The park is also home to events throughout the season like Memorial Day and Fourth of July Fireworks.

The park will be open for Spring Break March 13 through March 17. Then starting March 23 and 24, the park will be open weekends and expanding to seven days a week beginning May 18.
