Healthy-Fit Kitchen to Assume ‘Head Chef’ Role Following King’s Catering Legacy
Starting in the Fall 2023 school semester, healthy-fit kitchen ProteinHouse will fuel the busy student minds of a Scottsdale private high school with nutritious meals. The restaurant, which operates Valley locations in Scottsdale, Gilbert and Arcadia, will cater school lunches and events for Notre Dame Preparatory High School. The partnership comes as the school’s beloved former catering company, King’s Catering, retires after nearly 21 years of serving generations of students and staff members.
“We’re humbled by this incredible opportunity to serve Notre Dame Prep’s future changemakers and leaders every day,” said Eric Greenwald, co-owner of ProteinHouse.
ProteinHouse will continue to cook and serve up student favorites while also offering healthy breakfast offerings, like acai bowls and breakfast sandwiches, as well as lunches such as wraps, salads and nutritious protein bowls.
"Finding the right people to replace the King’s took a lot of prayer and searching, and we feel very blessed to enter into this partnership with ProteinHouse to provide the best and most nutritious cafeteria experience we can for our students," NDP President Jill Platt said. "I am confident that they will continue the legacy of food made with love that was set by King's Catering."
Greenwald and business partners Cody Starrett and Mark Goldberg assumed ownership of Arizona’s three ProteinHouse locations in August 2023, and plan to expand the brand’s presence in the state with more locations and impactful partnerships with likeminded organizations.
