We opted for the Narration Cruise, which proved to be an ideal choice for our first time as a family outing. We experienced the lake via a 90-minute narrated cruise. Captain Matt took us on a narrated tour guiding us to the Agua Fria River, the old Waddell Dam, the New Waddell Dam and the wildlife areas located throughout the region. My kids got very excited to see wild burros, blue heron and a few bald eagles, but their highlight of the cruise was getting behind the captain's wheel!

The captain and crew were skilled at spotting and pointing out these remarkable sightings, making the experience even more memorable. Captain Matt and the crew members on our cruise were knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. They provided interesting insights into the lake's history, wildlife, and notable landmarks, enhancing our overall experience. Their passion for the area was evident, and they made sure we all felt welcomed and well-cared for throughout our journey.
