Planning to visit some of Arizona's National Parks in 2022? You can save some money if you go on one of the five days this year when the National Park Service waives admission fees at national parks, monuments and recreation areas.


Here are the days in 2022 when U.S. National Parks will offer free admission to all visitors. 

  • January 17th: Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday
  • February 21st: Presidents Day
  • June 11th: National Get Outdoors Day
  • August 4th: Great American Outdoors Act One-Year Anniversary
  • September 24th: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11th: Veterans Day

Arizona National Parks that always offer free admission:

  • Casa Grande Ruins National Monument.
  • Chiricahua National Monument.
  • Coronado National Memorial.
  • Fort Bowie National Historic Site.
  • Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument.
  • Canyon de Chelly National Monument.

  • Navajo National Monument.
