Mortimer Farms Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze
Sept. 18th - Nov. 1st
Mortimer Family Farms is a historic farm located at the corner of Highway 69 & 169 in Dewey, AZ. The Mortimer family has a love of farming and is considered one of Arizona's most recognizable premier farms in Arizona.
It's been a family tradition to visit this perfect pumpkin patch and corn maze farm not to far from our house. Mortimer Farms has something for everyone! Activities include farm-inspired rides, hayride farm tours, barrel train rides, circus show, and the pick-your-own experience! You can also enjoy train rides, tetherball, zip lines, farm to table food, and rope course races!
FARM MAP
Mortimer Farms is a real working farm. They hold festivals annually: the Adult Easter Egg Hunt, Berry Festival, Sweet Corn Festival, Pumpkin Festival and Breakfast with Santa. No matter what time of year they have something going on at the farm. The Pumpkin Fest and Corn Maze is a thrilling all day fun day!
Pick-Your-Own Strawberry Farm
Warmer temperatures and the sun shining overhead only signifies one thing: fresh, local fruit! Nothing taste better than seasonal produce and picking your own makes it even more thrilling. Strawberry picking is by far the best fruit to pick with your kids. Its easy for kids to reach but also the opportunity to get to talk to your kids about where their food comes from outside of a grocery store. Plus, walking up and down the rows is a quarantined way to wear them out and after weeks in quarantine, it's important for everyone to soak up some sun and reconnect with the outdoors.
Strawberries are sold by the pound and you pay for your haul on the way out. Don't hesitate to fill your container!
Strawberries don't last very long, but you can savor their sunshine for months to come if you work them properly. If you are coming from outside of Dewey, AZ, I suggest to bring a cooler to transport your strawberries home after picking.
Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze
Mortimer Farms Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze is a 15-acre pumpkin patch and 15-acre corn maze that gives you a choice of an easy path or a hard path. Other attractions include pumpkins (you pick or pre-picked), farm-inspired rides, hayride farm tours, barrel train rides and more. Your kids will love hunting through the pumpkin patch to find their favorite pumpkin! I love looking for pumpkins to decorate the front porch but best of all for jack-o-lantern carving. Mortimer Farms has a huge selection of sizes and shapes, so I know your family will find a favorite to take home.
Those of you who don't wish to pick-your-own, or do not want to purchase admission to the Pumpkin Fest, their Country Store has pre-picked pumpkins right out of our fields. You can feel free to browse the endless rows for the perfect pumpkin!
Pumpkin Pricing

The Farm Park
This family fun farm is the place where you and your whole family can enjoy farm-filled fun! They offer a huge outdoor play area and activities for all to enjoy; zip lines, giant tire swing, redneck swing and so much more!
We love and enjoyed all their man-made rides; especially the “Redneck swings” and “Redneck Carousel”, my kids loved it and all the other farm inspired rides. Right next to it was the zip line, which the kids were on it over and over again! Outdoor fun for all is what’s worth it and Mortimer Farms had so much fun for all. I guarantee your kids will sleep well after spending the day at the farm.
Festival Shows & Entertainment
This Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze is packed with one-of-a-kind animal shows! From wacky illusionists to amazingly trained animals, we enjoyed the pig races, farm animals and more. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze. The best part, all of these shows are included in your festival admission! We spent hours feeding and petting the animals! The farm provides machines for 25 cents to get a hand full of food to feel the chicken, goats and sheep. My son was more entertained and interacted more with the animals than my daughter, but that's why Mortimer Farms is the perfect farm because it provides family fun for all!
Mortimer Farms is our family tradition and our top favorite farms to visit every year. This pumpkin patch ends November 1st and your guaranteed to get dirty, dusty and hot depending on the weather, but its worth it!
