New Year’s Eve Family Fun!

Many families, would love the idea to do something on New Year’s Eve but when you have little ones the planning isn’t easy or staying up late is not always the option. Luck for us, there are many places hosting activities to celebrate ringing in the New Year (and decade) at a family friendly place. 


New Year’s Evening - OdySea Aquarium

Fishy New Year at OdySea Aquarium for a family friendly New Year’s Even Coundown! The party includes hula hoop races, flossing dance-offs, a countdown to 2020 with their Deep Ocean Exhibit Divers, Surprise appearances with princesses and super heroes and dance party!

Noon Year’s Eve - Phoenix Zoo

Get ready to ring in the new year at the stroke of…NOON with your zoo friends!

Festivities include:
TONS of Snow (for kids of all ages)
Bounce Houses
Snowball Targets
DJ Dance Party
Noon Ball Drop (with a cider/juice toast!)

Happy Noon Year Celebration - Children’s Museum of Phoenix 

Ring in the New Year at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix at our joyous Happy Noon Year Celebration! As the clock strikes noon, enjoy sparkling apple cider, music & dancing, and a festive balloon drop in our Atrium!


General Admission for this SPECIAL EVENT from 9AM- noon: $19.95 per person (children under the age of 1 are free)

Sharks vs. T. rex New Year’s Eve Celebration - Arizona Science Center

The Arizona Science Center will be open on New Year's Eve, including its latest exhibit, Victoria the T. Rex. There will be special sharks vs. dinosaur activities, plus a 2 p.m. balloon drop.

Museum admission is $13-$20. Admission to Victoria the T.Rex is an additional $12.

Noon Year’s Party - Fountain Hills Community Center 

Join the Fountain Hills Community Services Department on Tuesday, December 31st for a free Noon Year's Eve Party! We will have crafts, games, snacks, and root beer floats. This event is open to families of all ages. Children 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Westgate Noon Year’s Eve 

Turn your attention to our festive flurry of family fun to mark a year well done! Our kiddo-approved celebration mimics a grown-up New Year’s Eve fete, only with a communal countdown & confetti balloon drop at noon (rather than midnight). Little ones can pose with favorite costumed characters (Anna & Elsa, Spider-Man & Captain Marvel plus a Unicorn Princess & her rainbow pony), create-their-own party favors, dance to live music & play games to welcome in the “noon” year!
