Along with over 40 Macaroni Kid publishers were recently special guests of Azul Beach Resort Riviera in Cancun, Mexico. We were quickly greeted by a busy airport where timeshare sellers abound. We ignored them and quickly found our pre-arranged transportation. A 20-minute ride brought us to Azul Beach Hotel Riviera Maya, By Karisma, Cancun, Mexico.

The Gourmet Inclusive Experience and Accommodations
Luxurious all-inclusive made this trip an easy escape of my dreams! As we were checked in, we were offered a cool mist towel and a very greeted staff. I could tell already I was going to love it here!
I began with a restful morning poolside in the cabanas and grabbed fresh drinks while soaking up the beautiful Mexico sun. Did you know Azul Beach Resort has six sparkling pools, including an adult-only option with cabanas! I enjoyed the tranquility of the serene garden and pool views to match. This resort provided comfort oversized suites that featured two queen beds with a luxury hot tub in my room! As I opened the door to the balcony, I found beautiful view of the blue water of the ocean and pools.

Extraordinary Meals
Fabulous food for both you and the kids was the big draw at the “All Inclusive” resort. Your traditional foods to a 5 Diamond AAA Award Dinner for adults only at Le Chique Restaurant. With 8 restaurants to choose from, I loved having a choice of food styles sometimes you just need a burger and fries, and sometimes you want to dress up and go out for gourmet meal. All restaurants have “kids menu and kids are welcome at any time. Did I mention the 24 hour room service? I guarantee you will never go hungry or thirsty at Azul Beach Resort.

Wandering and exploring the resort, everything is so green and lush, and the grounds are immaculately kept. It’s paradise for sure!

For the Kids
I know bringing your children and babies on a trip can be so much work, and there’s so much equipment to bring along. Azul Beach Resort makes it easy and all you have to do is bring the children! Their Gourmet Inclusive baby amenities include strollers, cribs, bottle sterilizes and warmers changing tables, baby monitors and so much more.

The Vassa Spa
I discovered the spa for a total well-being and relaxed in my own sanctuary. The mood in the spa is very tranquil and relaxing. (Spa treatments are not included in the inclusive package) As a special treat, Monday morning I treated myself to a coconut mud massage and it was amazing! This unique treatment combined the benefits of Swedish massage with the properties of coconut butter providing restoration, tone, detoxification and so much more. This incredible treatment left my skin so soft and shiny.
