Exhibit on Legendary RMS Titanic to Feature 120 Artifacts Never Seen in Arizona

I grabbed my boarding pass as Mrs. Amin S. Jerwan (Marie Marthe Thuillard) and survived the crash, on the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at OdySea in the Desert.

Before you enter the exhibit you receive a replica of the exact boarding pass with a name of one of the passengers and their traveling information. I found myself reading every caption and description to learned new information of which I won’t spoil. It’s a fascinating exhibit that will capture your attention and I hope you will see it and enjoy it too.

On April 15th, 1912, Titanic, the world's largest ship afloat at that time, sank after colliding with an iceberg. Today, 107 years later, OdySea in the Desert is pleased to announce Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is opening on May 8 at its entertainment destination in Scottsdale. This unique, moving exhibit was designed with a focus on the legendary RMS Titanic's compelling personal stories, best told through room re-creations and 137 artifacts, 120 of which have never been seen in Arizona.

“Generations have been mesmerized by the story of the Titanic; from its grand send-off in England to its unfortunate collision with an iceberg in the North Atlantic Ocean that forever altered the lives of those aboard,” said Ran Knishinsky, Partner and Chief Marketing Officer at OdySea in the Desert entertainment destination. “Even after more than 100 years, the curiosity is still there. Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition puts visitors in the shoes of passengers, showcasing authentic objects that offer a poignant, emotional connection to those traveling on the iconic ship.  OdySea in the Desert is proud to offer this must-see experience in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area.”

At Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition visitors are quickly drawn back in time to 1912, receiving a replica boarding pass of an actual passenger aboard Titanic. They begin their chronological voyage through Titanic, moving through the ship's construction, to life on board, to the ill-fated sinking and amazing artifact rescue efforts. They will marvel at the re-created accommodations and press their palms against an iceberg while learning of countless stories of the maiden voyage. In the “Memorial Gallery” guests will take their boarding pass to the memorial wall and discover whether their passenger and traveling companions survived or perished.

Over the past 25 years, more than 40 million people have seen this powerful exhibition in major museums worldwide - from Chicago to Los Angeles and Paris to London.  RMS Titanic, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Experiential Media Group, is the only company permitted by law to recover objects from the wreck site of Titanic. The Company was granted Salvor-in-Possession rights to the wreck site of Titanic by a United States federal court in 1994 and has conducted nine research and recovery expeditions to the Titanic rescuing more than 5,500 artifacts.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is produced by Experiential Media Group , who is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Titanic, its wreckage site and all her passengers and crew through educational, historical, scientific and conservation-based programs and exhibitions.
