Phoenix Zoo to Celebrate Noche de Reyes Magos

¡Ya vienen los Reyes Magos!

Vibrant fiesta to celebrate the Hispanic holiday

 

WHAT: 

The Phoenix Zoo will celebrate Noche de Reyes Magos during ZooLights. This Latino holiday commemorates the day when the Three Wise Men followed the star to Bethlehem and arrived bearing their treasured gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh for the Baby Jesus. The evening event will feature a traditional celebration including activities, mariachis and a chance to visit with, and take a photo with the Three Kings.

5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Phoenix Zoo Members Online: $25

General Public Online: $30

Gate prices are $5 more

     

ACTIVITIES:

• See the Three Kings arrive on camels to our Neely Event Center at approximately 6 p.m. 

• Write letters to the Three Kings and take a photo with them on the Neely Center terrace

• Meet some of the Zoo’s animal ambassadors

• Visit our arts & crafts station and make a crown, then pin the crown on the king!

• Coloring pages for younger kids

• Dance and listen to the music of a live mariachi band

• Enjoy specialty Mexican food*

• Enjoy Polar Park with s’mores* and glow swings

* Extra fee applies

 

Noche de Reyes Magos festivities are included with ZooLights admission.
