Valley’s Coolest Summer Camp

OdySea Aquarium’s Camp Ocean

Camp Ocean at OdySea Aquarium is on! Registration for the area’s coolest summer camp for Grades K through 8 is now open! This year’s camp may look a little different than years past as OdySea Aquarium incorporates comprehensive safety measures into the camp’s regular operations, but Camp Ocean will still deliver a very exciting experience to its young explorers, animal lovers and budding marine biologists! Campers will enjoy learning about diverse fresh and saltwater species, different ecosystems, animal adaptations, marine biology, and conservation through classroom activities, behind the scenes tours, and incredible learning experiences. Camp Ocean kicks-off May 30th and runs through July 30th. Parents are encouraged to register their children EARLY as camps will have limited participants per session.

Camp Ocean specifically focuses our education and conservation efforts toward young minds and empowers kids to make a difference in protecting our natural resources,” said Jess Peranteau, Director of Animal Care and Education at OdySea Aquarium. “Our goal is to inspire kids of various ages to protect the oceans and the planet by connecting with nature through incredible animal experiences and a variety of awesome activities.”

The health and well-being of the campers, OdySea team members, guests and the animals are a priority of OdySea Aquarium. Camp Ocean will implement important safety measures that align with CDC guidelines to include reduced capacity, temperature checks and mask wearing for everyone at camp. Additionally, the classroom will be disinfected multiple times per day, and hand sanitizer and handwashing stations will be readily available to all campers.
