I truly enjoy crafting my daughters lunch everyday using cute cookie cutters to make her sandwiches and including a variety of sides and snacks. While at Target we explored new ways to craft our kids lunch and provide a balanced meal. So, while we were out shopping for all return to school needs, we made it fun to choose some products to make “crafting our lunch” fun and exciting. We purchased Horizon Organic Milk Boxes, NABISCO Multipack Snacks, Danimals smoothies and pouches, and Horizon Organic Milk to balance their lunch.

Once we got home, my daughter was so excited about helping make her lunch and providing ideas of what she would like to include in her lunch when it's time for back to school, however that may look. We utilized this Craft a Lunch Page to help. We crafted themed stars and hearts and discussed reaching for the stars to help us all get through this school year.
Not only did we have a great time, she also learned about making great balanced choices and picked out great sides and snacks to go along with her protein meal. Even though my son is only 2 years old, it was great to see him listen and learn and best of all, he went for the smoothie and veggies first. A win-win for mommy.
After lunch was done, we spent time cleaning up and discussing what we learned from our crafting lunch day.
