Phoenix, AZ, November, 2016 - After emerging on the dance scene in 2015, Phoenix Ballet has since performed not only in Phoenix, but also in Sedona and Poland to rave reviews. Phoenix Ballet presents Slawomir Wozniak's acclaimed The Nutcracker this December 9-11 and December 22-24. Phoenix Ballet is thrilled to announce that the December 9-11th performances will have live music by The Phoenix Symphony.

Last year, Phoenix Ballet performed to all sold out audiences for their productions of The Nutcracker and has since received numerous accolades. The Arizona Republic and azcentral.com said, "The choreography, punctuated by the occasional acrobatic run, is fun and modern."

Slawomir Wozniak's acclaimed version of The Nutcracker is a magical production that features some of the world's best young dancers who perform alongside Phoenix Ballet's professional adult dancers. His lush sets, costumes and intricate choreography is a pure magic, with dancing mice, a stilt-walking Drosselmeyer, a snowfall on stage and the magic of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
